We are seeking an experienced manager for this busy tourist venue location in the spectacular Kimberley Region of Western Australia. This property features onsite motel accommodation, caravan park, restaurants and bars along with a small tour operation. This is an extremely busy venue catering to the local, corporate, contractor and tourist market.
Package:
$85K Salary + 9.5% Super
+ Company 4WD for business and local personal use
+ 2 Bedroom Accommodation-Fully furnished house located on site-small charge
+ 3 Staff Meals per day
4 Weeks Annual Leave
2 year contract with 6 month probationary period
Duties:
• Day to day management of this venue reporting to the board of directors
• Recruitment, management and training of up to 50+ hospitality staff
• Hands on work across the property-assisting in all areas as required
• Imput into budgets and financials, keeping of accurate onsite records
• Undertaking monthly stock takes and stock control reports
• Planning of maintenance programmes for the property
• Monthly reports to the directors & weekly updates
• General marketing of the property to increase property trade
• Liaising with local liquor accord, police and liquor licensing
Ideal Candidate:
• The successful candidate will have a strong background in hotel / resort management at Assistant Manager and above
• Preferably previous experience living and working in a remote location
• Hold or be able to obtain a WA Approved Managers License
• Have a current police clearance prior to commencement
• Be a hands on manager and lead by example
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
