We are seeking an experienced Head Chef for this busy venue located in regional Queensland. This role commences immediately and represents an excellent opportunity to save heaps of money.

$70K Salary

Duties:
- Manage a team to a cost effective budget
- Liaise with owners to create a menu and pricing
- Order and stocktake goods
- Create the roster
- Have a key role in establishing your team in the kitchen
- Produce goods for the café cabinet
- Liaise with management and owners
- Help train and liaise with plate staff
- Take part in meetings with owners on direction and results
- Preparing and cooking of breakfast, lunch & Dinner as well as bar snacks throughout the day. Also preparing and costings of small plates for functions.
- Keeping wages in line with budgets.
- Performance reviews of kitchen staff and giving feedback to owners.
We are looking for a head chef that has a positive attitude and is able to manage a team. They must be able to communicate well and be open to new ideas and have input into problem solving. |
